Witch Goddess Wand
This was a specialized custom wand for a magical wedding in Salem on Halloween.

In Greek Mythology, Hecate is the goddess of witches who presides over magic and spells. She is associated with witchcraft, the moon, doorways, and creatures of the night. It was common to place images / sculptures of Hecate holding a torch or a key at city gates + the doorways of your home because she was known as a protectress who warded off evil spirts.

70% of this wand is constructed with reclaimed pieces, that feature a dazzling vintage rhinestone crescent moon affixed to metal filigree stamping. The wand topper is a cast iron steeple and the handle is an antique bobbin from the 1930s / 40s textile mills that was sourced from an eclectic antique shop in Maine. Our collective grandmothers used these bobbins to literally weave the fabric of our country as far back as 100 years ago!

The black crystal skull affixed to the handle is genuine black obsidian, and the dangle at the bottom of the wand features a hagstone and an authentic skeleton key dating back to about 1940.

Black obsidian is a powerful crystal that cleanses your aura and provides psychic protection.
Hagstones are stones with naturally occurring holes, usually created by water + found in nature. In Celtic mythology it is believed that looking through the hole of a hagstone will make visible fae, spirits or other magical beings. These stones are often used in folk magic to create charms of protection.
May this wand bring forth your witchy, wild heart +conjure up fresh spells, while providing you with Hecate’s fierce protection from all negativity!
